HOW WE TEST OUR PRODUCTS

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING AT KUHN RIKON NOW?
At the end of September it will be exactly 8 years.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY WORK ROUTINE INVOLVE?
On the one hand I conduct quality-, function- and safety-related tests on our products in the laboratory (e. g. base and grip tests on cookware, sharpness and hardness of knife blades). On the other, I am also responsible for compliance work. I make sure that our products comply with the statutory stipulations, and I commission external tests on food grade quality.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT YOUR WORK?
The variety between practical work in the laboratory and theoretical work at my desk. The laboratory tests mean that I am also directly involved with the products. I also like the interaction with the other departments.

HOW DO YOU UNWIND OUTSIDE WORK?
I really like doing yoga, like going for walks and like reading as well (especially fantasy books but also non-fiction).

WHAT DISH DO YOU USE YOUR FRYING PAN MOST FOR?  
In the frying pan I like to prepare fried rice with vegetables, fine curries, and also vegetarian sausages best.
