HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING FOR KUHN RIKON?

WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
My work is extremely varied. On the one hand there are so many different products in the DUROMATIC®, thermal cookware, cooking at the table and cooking in the oven product ranges.  On the other, the different phases of the product life cycles add colour and spice to my work. I act as a central point of contact and particularly enjoy liaising with the various departments and my team.


WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT COOKING WITH OTHER PEOPLE?
I love travelling, and that’s reflected in the dishes I cook. I love meeting up with friends or family to cook recipes from around the world. One thing I particularly like is that I learn new things every time. I also enjoy adding my own personal angle to each recipe.
 

WHEN YOU INVITE GUESTS OVER, WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE RECIPE USING THE HOTPAN®?
I cook lots of different things in my HOTPAN®. Mostly I use it for vegetables, risottos and tortilla fillings. The fact that it keeps foods warm for up to two hours is extremely handy because it means I can prepare the food in advance and then relax and enjoy the time with my guests.


WHAT’S YOUR INSIDER TIP FOR THE HOTPAN®?
I love using the HOTPAN® to cook chicken via the soft cooking method. I often stuff it with cream cheese. It turns out really tender and moist, and it’s also really easy to prepare. What’s more, the soft cooking method is so gentle that it preserves most of the vitamins and minerals in the food. Last but not least, I save energy, and the food stays warm for up to two hours!
