A DUROMATIC® BELONGS IN EVERY KITCHEN
IN YOUR OPINION WHY HAS THE DUROMATIC® STOOD THE TEST OF TIME FOR MORE THAN 70 YEARS?
I think in many families the DUROMATIC® has been in use for generations. If you are acquainted with something from childhood then, later on in life there’s a good chance that one will reach for the tried and tested.
WHY SHOULD EVERYONE HAVE A DUROMATIC®?
In the present day, it has become more difficult for many people to find time to cook. With a pressure cooker you can prepare dishes in about a third of the normal cooking time. Moreover, due to the short cooking time, it is healthy and energy-saving. These are aspects which have grown in significance for many people these days.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT IN THE NEW DUROMATIC®?
With a tried and tested classic there is not a lot you can change. We did however find that the design of the handles had become somewhat outmoded. Our industrial design team has now constructed the handles to be more modern in look and easier to use than on the previous model. In addition, we are providing the new Classic Neo in more sizes and with a printed hood. You can now read the relevant cooking times directly on the hood itself.
WHY DO YOU DEPLOY THE DUROMATIC® ROUTINELY?
Because I sometimes don’t have the time or simply just don’t feel like standing in the kitchen for a long time. With the DUROMATIC® I can prepare things much faster and just even healthier. With children, your life is also made easier by this.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE RECIPE FOR THE DUROMATIC®?
I like cooking risotto, potatoes and vegetables in the pressure cooker. Depending on the season, I make asparagus or pumpkin risotto. In summer I often use the DUROMATIC® for potato and bean salad.
