WHY A WOK IS INDISPENSABLE

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING AT KUHN RIKON NOW?
For 19 months. 

WHAT MAKES YOUR ROUTINE WORKING DAY EXCITING?
There are two things that give me a fresh impetus every day and are really enjoyable. Firstly, the many great people I have dealings with in my job – whether colleagues, team members, business partners or customers. Secondly, this marketing job is also very diverse and full of variety. I love my job and that makes my working life so exciting.

WHY DO YOU LIKE COOKING?
No idea. Perhaps because, during my scientific studies, I used to work in a laboratory and am adept at handling steaming vessels. Perhaps because I like the opportunity to be creative and maybe also because I would like to spoil the people I like. I would have to ask my therapist. 

WHY IS THE WOK AN INDISPENSABLE KITCHEN AID?
My beloved and I like eating Asian food very much. The wok is an extremely versatile piece of cookware which, thanks to its different temperature zones, is outstandingly suited to brown, braise, blanche or simmer. I only need a little, or even no, fat and I can prepare my curry or pad thai quickly and with a lot of creative freedom – and, besides, the thing is genuinely “foolproof”.

WHAT DO YOU COOK FOR YOUR GUESTS?
Always something different again. I have got used to trying out something new yet again for our guests. Most of the time I use recipes I have never cooked before. This way I could have the excuse, if needed, that this was the first time…
