Kuhn Rikon has its own online shop. Visit our website to browse our wide range of fantastic products and special offers. We only offer products online which are currently in stock.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER IF I WANT TO ORDER IN THE ONLINE SHOP? 

You can place an order even if you don’t have a customer account.

 

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF MY ORDER. WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT? 

We confirm receipt of your order immediately. However, this is not the same as confirmation of the actual order. Confirmation of the order is given either by email, or by delivering the goods within a maximum of five days. You should also check your spam folder! If you haven’t received written confirmation, please feel free to call us on 052 396 01 01.

HOW CAN I REDEEM A VOUCHER CODE IN THE ONLINE SHOP? 

You can only redeem gift cards and coupon codes before you complete the order. Gift cards and coupon codes cannot be redeemed retrospectively..

WHY CAN’T I ORDER MY CHOSEN PRODUCT IN THE ONLINE SHOP? 

In order to ensure speedy delivery, we only offer products online if we have sufficient quantities in stock. However, if you have a special request, please call 052 396 01 01 or write us via contact form and we will do our best to help you.

CAN I ORDER A GIFT CARD FROM THE KUHN RIKON ONLINE SHOP? 

You can either buy gift cards in person at our Kuhn Rikon outlets, or order them online in our online shop.

HOW LONG DOES THE RIGHT OF RETURN LAST AND WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS?

We grant a voluntary 30-day right of return for almost all items if they are not to your liking or due to an incorrect order. The following conditions apply:

Shipping costs for returns:
The customer bears the shipping costs for the return.

Credit note and refund:
Credit will be issued using the same payment method as the original payment was made.
The refund may take up to 30 days under certain circumstances.

Condition of the returned goods:
The returned goods must be in their original packaging, undamaged, clean and unused.
All accessories supplied must also be complete and undamaged.
The goods must be returned in their original, unopened packaging.

Compensation for opened packaging:
An expense allowance of 10% of the sales value, at least CHF 10, will be charged for opened packaging.

Excluded from the right of return are
Goods that are incomplete or whose original packaging is missing or damaged.
Goods that are soiled, used or damaged.
Special orders and larger quantities at the customer's request.
Personalised items.

WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR TERMS & CONDITIONS? 

HOW CAN I PAY IN THE ONLINE SHOP? 

  • If you wish to pay by credit card, you can choose between Visa or MasterCard. The amount will be charged to your card as soon as the order is completed.
  • If you wish to pay by debit card, you may use either Postkarte or Post e-Finance. You can also pay via TWINT.
  • PayPal: you can pay for your order via the online payment service PayPal.
  • Invoice (subject to a credit check, and provided the order value does not exceed 300 CHF). The invoice will be included in the delivery.

HOW DO I GET MY INVOICE?

We will send you an invoice via email as soon as your delivery leaves our warehouse. You should also check your spam folder! Please note that you will always receive an invoice via email, even if you already paid for your order via credit card, Twint, PayPal or PostFinance.

WHICH PARCEL SERVICE DO YOU USE FOR DELIVERY? 

Within Switzerland and Liechtenstein, we use SWISS POST (B post). All orders are delivered by post. We regret that orders cannot be collected in person.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED? 

Assuming all products are in stock, your order will be delivered within 2-3 working days.

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR P&P? 

In addition to the listed product prices, we charge a flat rate of CHF 8.90 per order for deliveries within Switzerland and Liechtenstein. We do not charge P&P on orders totalling CHF 80 or more.

HOW CAN I RETURN PRODUCTS? 

If you change your mind and wish to return your order, the goods must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, in perfect condition and returned in their original packaging – as they would be had you inspected the goods in a bricks and mortar store. If you change your mind and return your order, we will refund your payment to the account from which it was debited. If you paid via PayPal, credit or debit card, the balance will be refunded to the respective PayPal, credit or debit card account.

DO I HAVE TO PAY P&P FOR RETURNS? 

The sender bears the P&P costs for returns.

CAN I PLACE AN ONLINE ORDER TO BE DELIVERED TO SOMEONE ELSE AS A GIFT? 

Naturally, you are welcome to have your order delivered to a different recipient. To do so, simply select the delivery address and invoice address separately. Please note, however, that both addresses must be located in the same country. We regret that we are not able to gift-wrap deliveries.

WHY CAN’TMY PRODUCTS BE DELIVERED TO AN ADDRESS OUTSIDE SWITZERLAND, GERMANY, AUSTRIA, FRANCE?

HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER MY PRODUCT IS “SWISS MADE” OR “SWISS DESIGN”?

In our online shop, there’s a section called «Good to know» which tells you whether a product is “Swiss Made” or “Swiss Design”.

HOW CAN I FIND OUT MORE ABOUT HOW TO USE A NEW KUHN RIKON PRODUCT? 

Before you use a new product for the first time, please read the instructions carefully. We also offer short video tutorials for some of our products. You can watch these on YouTube. If you have any further questions, please contact our customer service.

HOW LONG DOES THE PRODUCT GUARANTEE LAST? 

Depending on the product category, the length of the guarantee can vary greatly from two to ten years. For more details on specific products, please see the packaging or our website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our customer service.

HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER OR NOT MY KUHN RIKON PRODUCT IS STILL COVERED BY THE GUARANTEE?

Ideally, you should keep your receipt. If you no longer have the receipt, look on the base of the dish or pan – most will have the manufacturing date lasered in.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF A PRODUCT HAS A DEFECT? 

Return it to the shop from which it was bought, or bring it to a Kuhn Rikon outlet. If the product is still covered by the guarantee, please remember to bring your receipt.

WHICH TYPES OF HOBS ARE SUITABLE FOR KUHN RIKON POTS AND PANS? 

Please see our website – here you’ll find a wide range of different pans and details about the types of hobs for which they are suitable. If you would like special help, we recommend you visit a Kuhn Rikon outlet.

MY PAN IS DESIGNED FOR AN INDUCTION HOB. CAN I ALSO USE IT ON A NORMAL HOB? 

Induction-compatible cookware by Kuhn Rikon is also suitable for use on other types of hob.

HOW DO I FIND THE RIGHT SIZE POT OR PAN FOR MY HOB?

For optimum efficiency, your pans should be as close in size as possible to the diameter of the hob. This is particularly important for energy efficiency if you’re cooking on a ceramic hob. On our website you’ll find a wide range of different pans. Look at the “Specifications” section to see what size hob they’re designed for. If you need help, please call our customer service hotline or visit us in one of our Kuhn Rikon outlets.

WHICH COVER FITS MY POT?

Our cover bonnets are compatible with all DUROMATIC® models except the DUROMATIC® Top, DUROMATIC® Brinox and DUROMATIC® Timax.

WHERE DO I MEASURE THE DIAMETER OF A POT OR PAN?

The diameter of the pot or pan is measured across the top inside rim of the pan.

WHAT INFORMATION IS LASERED ON THE BASE OF MY POTS AND PANS?

The following information is lasered on the base of our pots and pans:

  • Kuhn Rikon manufacturer
  • Name of product
  • Item no.
  • Production date
  • Base diameter
  • Capacity in litres

 

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SIZE RUBBER RING TO BUY FOR MY DUROMATIC®?

DOES KUHN RIKON OFFER REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR SIGG PRESSURE COOKERS? 

We do not stock special replacement parts for Sigg products. Our rubber rings only fit a small number of Sigg pressure cookers. To find out whether this is the case, please contact our customer service team and provide us with the item number of your pan or the rubber ring.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DOUBLE-WALL AND A SINGLE-WALL PAN? 

The double-walled DUROTHERM® cookware range is an innovation from Kuhn Rikon. As the name says, these pans have a double wall which has a strong insulating effect. Accordingly, food remains warm for up to two hours. Likewise, you can cook food in an energy-efficient manner by following the “soft cooking” method developed by Kuhn Rikon.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT FRYING PANS SUITABLE FOR? 

WHICH STOVE FITS WHICH FONDUE POT?

MY FONDUE POT IS MEANT TO BE INDUCTION-COMPATIBLE, BUT IT DOESN’T WORK ON MY INDUCTION HOB. WHY NOT?

On very rare occasions, an induction hob may fail to respond to a ceramic fondue pot. For this reason, we recommend you conduct a trial run before you use your fondue pot for the first time. Place the fondue pot on your hob and set it to a medium heat setting. If your hob responds and keeps heating the hob for thirty seconds with no interruptions, you’ll know you can use your fondue pot on your induction hob without any issues. If the hob doesn't continue heating up steadily for thirty seconds, or doesn’t respond to the fondue pot at all, please contact the Kuhn Rikon customer service team.
