FOR THE HOTPAN®

Healthy, sustainable and simply delicious – that’s how people cook with our HOTPAN®. In German, we’ve christened this gentle method of cooking “SOFTGAREN” (“soft cooking”). Ingredients are heated briefly to a high temperature and then continue cooking gently with the hob turned off. This saves electricity or gas, and ensures valuable vitamins and nutrients remain locked in the food. The soft cooking method also soaks up some of the stress of cooking, leaving you more time to enjoy life. Last but not least – and at the risk of stating the obvious – soft-cooked food quite simply tastes better!

FAST COOKING WITH THE DUROMATIC®

Cooking with a DUROMATIC® can save up to 70% of the time required by conventional cookware. Vitamins and nutrients are subjected to the high temperatures for a considerably shorter space of time, which in turn means that they are preserved and contribute to a healthier diet. The sieve insert on the base of the DUROMATIC® also helps separate food from the water and reinforces the above effect.

By way of example: when you cook food in a pressure cooker instead of a conventional pan, you preserve twice the amount of vitamin C*. In addition, you use up to 70% less energy when you use a pressure cooker.

This committee has developed an extensive programme of activities and schemes to help our employees stay happy and healthy. For example, we’ve initiated “fruit weeks” with fruits of the respective season, and we offer workplace massages on a regular basis. We also issue free passes for the local swimming pool and organise walks, cycle tours and other sport activities.
