Alois Carigiet (* 30 August 1902 Trun, Grisons; † 1 August 1985 Trun) was known for his work as a Swiss painter, illustrator, lithographer and author of children's books. Three of his most famous picture books are: "A Bell for Ursli", "The Big Snow" and "Florina and the Wild Bird". Especially the book "A Bell for Ursli" written by Selina Chönz led to national fame.
