Alois Carigiet (* 30. August 1902 Trun, Graubünden; † 1. August 1985 Trun) war bekannt für seine Arbeiten als Schweizer Maler, Zeichner, Lithograf und Kinderbuchautor. Drei seiner bekanntesten Bilderbuchwerke lauten: "Schellenursli", "Der grosse Schnee" und "Flurina und das Wildvögelein". Speziell das Buch "Schellenursli" geschrieben von Selina Chönz führte zur nationalen Berühmtheit. Der Engadiner Bezug zur Natur und Landschaft ist in den Zeichnungen von Alois Carigiet allgegenwärtig. Die einzigartigen Carigiet Malereien finden sich in den Rheinfelder Keramikprodukten wieder. Alle Produkte zeichnen sich als besonderes Unikat mit liebevoller Handarbeit aus - schon das Betrachten dieser Produktelinie bereitet viel Freude.
