INTERVIEW WITH PRISKA BOSSHARD,
CONDUCTS TOURS OF THE KUHN RIKON FACTORY

A LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES

HOW DID YOU ACQUIRE THE KNOWLEDGE YOU NEED FOR THE FACTORY TOUR?
I have first-hand knowledge of the company, having worked in the design/development department for many years and having enjoyed continued insights into production.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU TAKE THE TOURS?
The seven factory tours that I conducted in 2022 were just a fraction of the number offered by the wider team over the year.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE ROLE?
I always enjoy the visitors’ wonder at the many work steps involved in creating quality tableware as well as their interest in the company history.

WHY DO YOU THINK EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE A LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES AT KUHN RIKON?
On one of my tours, I am better able to explain the price of high-quality cookware from Kuhn Rikon.

WHICH PART OF THE FACTORY TOUR DO YOU PERSONALLY LIKE BEST?
The museum, the cold-forming process, in which a blank is formed into a pan, and the fascinating process in the assembly department.
