WHAT IS YOUR AREA OF WORK?
Since March 2012 I have been the product manager for DUROMATIC® and Frying (frying pans and woks) and, since March 2017, I have been head of product management.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE KUHN RIKON PRODUCT?
The DUROMATIC® Comfort. A product with so many uses (see new Kuhn Rikon app). From the starter to the main course, through to the dessert, there are countless uses for this product and all done in a third of the normal cooking time.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO COOK BEST?
Risotto in the DUROMATIC® Comfort in diverse variations – by the way, it’s my daughter’s favourite dish.
 

ARE THERE PRODUCTS, WHICH ARE HAVING A REVICAL JUST LIKE OLD RECIPES TAHT ARE SUDDENLY IN VOGUE AGAIN?
The Black Star cast iron frying pan certainly. Thanks to the barbecue trend, this has experienced a revival. On an additional extra gas cooking facility at the barbecue, or directly on the grill itself.
 

IS THERE A TREND THAT IS JUST CALLING OUT DOR NEW PRODUCTS AND KITCHEN AIDS?
The time issue. Time is a rare commodity and we are always seeking to simplify cooking with our products and give the cook more free time and fun in their cooking, whether this is with the pressure cooker, thermal cookware or a special knife. There is also the networking of household devices.

HOW ARE YOU PREPARING FOR THE AMBIENTE FAIS AND WHAT INSIGHTS WILL YOU BE TAKING HOME WITH YOU?
We, of course, do try to identify what is new on the market ahead of the Ambiente. The trends towards networked kitchen devices or intelligent cooking can’t be overlooked. Of course, the Duromatic Comfort was the first step in this direction. We always try to be the trend leader and therefore also derive trends from other branches such as, for example, fashion.

YOUR TIP FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY FROM THE DAILY GRIND?
Cooking and eating with the family. There is nothing more convivial for winding down from a stressful day. Preparing, cooking and eating together.
