Supporting apprentices is a key part of our corporate strategy. We are constantly increasing the number of training places we offer and support young talent with practical, personalised guidance. This enables us to secure skilled workers for the long term and fulfil our social responsibility.
CAREER CHOICE COURSE AND TRIAL OFFERS
We regularly participate in the career choice course organised by schools in Zell to show young people a wide range of career options and give them some practical insights. We also offer trial offers that allow students to experience our working world first-hand and provide targeted support for their personal career choices.
YOUTH PROJECT LIFT (PERFORMANCE THROUGH INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT AND PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES)
As part of the LIFT project, Kuhn Rikon provides targeted support to young people as they transition from school to the world of work. School pupils spend at least three months working on specific tasks in our company every Wednesday afternoon. These regular practical assignments give them a realistic understanding of everyday working life and help them develop important skills such as reliability and perseverance. In this way, we make an active contribution to strengthening the links between schools, the regional economy and the social environment.
INSIGHT INTO THE WORLD OF WORK
We are committed to promoting economic education among young people and open our doors to school classes and sixth form students during business weeks or on request. Participants are given a direct insight into our working world during a tour of the company, supplemented by a presentation on economic topics with opportunities for exchange and discussion.
COMMITMENT AS ÜK EXPERTS IN RETAIL
We are actively involved as experts in inter-company courses (ÜK) in the field of retail household goods. We provide practical and competent support for the training of apprentices, thereby making a valuable contribution to quality assurance and securing skilled workers in the retail sector.
