Description
Description
That tingle of excitement before the first run. The silence as the gondola lifts off. This fondue pot captures exactly that feeling – freedom, adventure and the Swiss mountain winter all in one. Handcrafted from high-quality ceramic – for anyone who enjoys the feeling of freedom and the Swiss mountain landscape, or is simply looking for an atmospheric centrepiece for their winter table.
FONDUE POT WITH GONDOLA MOTIF
Bright red, glossy glaze, gondolas gliding through the swirling snow. The Flumsi fondue pot is not just a fondue pot, but a mood-setter. Typically Alpine, typically Swiss with winter flair. It brings that après-ski feeling straight to the table and turns every fondue evening into a winter wonder.
A DELIGHT TO SHARE
The set consists of a high-quality fondue pot (Ø 21 cm), a ‘Rechaud Simple’, a paste burner and 6 forks with plastic handles. When using the paste burner in direct contact with a flame, discolouration may occur. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the functionality of the product in any way. Our high-quality ceramic products are handmade and may therefore exhibit slight variations in shape, material and decoration.

Use and Care
Use and Care
- Ceramic is not naturally suitable for induction hobs. However, with the correct induction adapter plate (item no. 32031, Ø 19 cm), any ceramic Fondue pot can be used very easily on an induction hob. Simply place the adapter plate on the hob, set the Fondue pot on top and use a maximum of ¾ of the hob’s power.
- Warm the fondue pot with the cheese mixtures and all ingredients at medium heat for 5 minutes. Increase the temperature and boil it while stirring constantly.
- Do not use a power level on an induction hob. If the first bubbles form, the cheese has melted and can be placed on the tablerechaud.
- Do not tap the stirring ladle fork on the sides of the fondue pot when preparing or eating the fondue. To prevent the fondue from burning, we recommend the use of an aluminium transmission plate. This is placed between the fondue pot and rechaud to achieve even heat distribution and to protect the fondue pot. Reduce the heat of the rechaud burner to a medium level to prevent the cheese from burning.
- After use, leave the fondue pot filled with cold water to stand for a short time to facilitate removal of cheese residues. The fondue pot can then be easily cleaned with detergent and a brush. After cleaning, let it dry out for 24 hours with the bottom facing up.
- The fondue pot is not suitable for dishwashers.
- Small hairline cracks in the glaze ensure high thermal shock resistance of the fondue pot. For the glazes in light colours, hairline crack structures may become visible.
- Discolouring may occur from direct contact with the flame when using a gel burner. This discolouration does not affect performance in any way whatsoever.
