Ingredients

  • »1 bunch fresh basil wash, shake dry, pluck from stem
  • »1 limes only the juice
  • »1 cm ginger Fresh grate finely
  • »1 tbsp icing sugar (Optional)
  • »15 Ice cubes
  • »8 dl tonic water

Garnish

  • »1 limes Wash and slice
  • »1 sprig fresh basil

Instructions

1. Use a pestle and mortar to crush the basil leaves, lime juice, ginger and icing sugar until green juice oozes out.

2. Scoop crushed ice or ice cubes into 4 glasses and pour in the extracted juice through a sieve.

3. Fill to the top with tonic water.

Serving

Garnish

Garnish with a few basil leaves and lime wedges. Serve chilled.
