NEW LIFE® -UNA SEGUNDA VIDA PARA LAS LATAS DE ALUMINIO
Las sartenes NEW LIFE® están hechas al 100% de aluminio reciclado, procedente de Europa, y se fabrican utilizando hasta un 95 % menos de energía que las sartenes de aluminio convencionales. Para fabricar una sartén se recicla el aluminio de unas 30 latas (para la sartén NEW LIFE® de 24 cm). Por tanto, merece la pena recoger las latas de aluminio y deshacerse de ellas correctamente. Quién sabe si pronto tendrán una segunda vida.
CÓMO SE RECICLA EL ALUMINIO
La chatarra de aluminio compactada (latas, marcos de ventanas, etc.) que llega a la planta de reciclaje, primero se tritura de nuevo y se coloca en la cinta transportadora. Una vez eliminadas las impurezas y el revestimiento, el aluminio se vuelve a fundir en bloques y, a continuación, se lamina en frío y en caliente hasta alcanzar su grosor final. Por último, los discos se separan de la bobina y ya pueden transformarse en un cuerpo de sartén.

NO VACUUM
The lid is made of glass so that you can watch your food as it cooks without wasting heat, and features an integrated steam outlet to prevent a vacuum from forming as food cools down.

In addition to being made of 100 % recycled aluminium, our NEW LIFE® Pro cookware and frying pans are the first aluminium products in 35 years to be manufactured at our Swiss production site in Rikon. We manufacture all our aluminium cookware and frying pans here in Switzerland because it’s a very complex process and our quality standards are high. And doing so cost-effectively into the bargain.
