Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Chard cut off the green leaves and cut into approx. 4cm long strips. Remove fibres from the stems and cut into pieces approx. 2 cm long.
  • 1 shallots slice finely
  • 6 1/2 tbsp dry white wine
  • 3 1/2 tbsp Pernod
  • 1 pinch saffron powder
  • 8 1/2 fl.oz. cream
  • 1 tsp instant vegetable stock
  • Maizena express light
  • Sea salt and black pepper Freshly ground

Instructions

1. Place the shallots, white wine, Pernod and saffron into the HOTPAN® Comfort, reduce by half.

2. Add the chard, cream and vegetable bouillon-powder.

3. Season with salt and pepper.

4. Put on the lid and start the cooking assistant of the app. The app can be installed free of charge in the corresponding store for iOS and Android

Serving

At the end of the cooking time.

Season the vegetables to taste and if necessary bind the sauce with maizena express.

3. Place the lid on and bring to the boil until steam rises from between the lid and the rim of the pan.

4. Reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.

5. Start the cooking assistant. The app can be installed free of charge in the corresponding store for iOS and Android

6. Then place the DUROTHERM® / HOTPAN® into the base / insulating bowl and softcook for 10 minutes.
