Ingredients

  • »14 ounces Penne
  • »2 tbsp olive oil
  • »1 onions chop finely
  • »1 tbsp tomato purée
  • »2 garlic cloves Crush
  • »1 English cucumbers peel, halve, core and cut into cubes a finger width in size
  • »3 1/2 ounces black olives without the pits wash and halve
  • »14 ounces Chopped tinned tomatoes or passata
  • »3 1/2 cups instant vegetable stock
  • »1 tsp chili flakes
  • »1 bunch fresh basil wash, shake dry, pluck off the leaves and cut into strips
  • »3/4 cup feta cheese crumble with your fingers
  • » Sea salt and black pepper

Instructions

1. Lightly cook onions, garlic and tomato purée in olive oil on medium heat for 3 minutes.

2. Add vegetable bouillon, passata, pieces of cucumber, olives and chilli flakes, put the lid on top and heat until a plume of steam rises from between the lid and the edge of the pan.

3. Add the pasta, stir well and then put the lid back on.

4. As soon as the plume of steam rises afresh, place the DUROTHERM® / HOTPAN® onto the base / into the insulation bowl and soft cook for 15 minutes.

Serving

Once the cooking time is at an end, mix the basil and the feta with the pasta, then season to taste with salt and pepper.
