- »5 1/2 tbsp Oat milk
- »1 ounce Cashew butter
- »1/2 tsp dijon mustard
- »1/2 tsp salt
- »6 1/2 tbsp canola oil
- »2 tsp fresh lemon juice
Carrot-Dog
- »4 carrots gut waschen, nicht schälen
- »1 tsp fleur de sel
- »1 tsp Garlic powder
- »1/2 tsp chipotle chilli or smoked paprika powder
- »4 Hot dog roll
Preparations
Vegan mayo
1. Blend the plant-based milk, cashew butter, mustard and salt salt with a hand blender or high-speed blender until smooth. Pour in the oil in a thin stream while blending until the mayo thickens. Fold in the lemon juice. Depending on the desired consistency, dilute with a little plant-based milk, season to taste and chill.
Instructions
Carrot-Dog
1. Place the trivert into the DUROMATIC® and just cover with water.
2. Wash the carrots well and place on the sieve insert. Sprinkle generously with fleur de sel, garlic powder and chilli flakes, press down lightly.
3. Close the lid and pressure cook on pressure setting 2 for 7 minutes.
4. Once the cooking time is finished, set the DUROMATIC® aside and allow to cool.
Serving
Finish the Carrot-Dog
Cut the rolls lengthways but do not cut them in half.
Spread a little mayo in the buns. Place the carrots inside. Sprinkle with toppings of your choice and finish with the mayo.
Use toppings of your choice: e.g. gherkins, fried onions, shredded red cabbage, sprouts, herbs, coarse-grained mustard, sweetcorn, sauerkraut, spring onions, cheddar, lettuce, etc.
